Joe Kelly

You might have seen me being referenced to on occasion as ‘Instahubs’ by my wife, Siobhan, aka, A Girl Who Blooms. My name is Joe and I am the other half (literally) of A Girl Who Blooms.

While my wonderful wife puts together amazing trips, manages the Instagram account and looks glamorous, it is my job to document our adventures together. I live to create and be inspired, so being able to tell stories through various means allows me to indulge in my passions.

I’ve written professionally for corporations, been published in newspapers and magazines, been the words behind the voice at events and conferences, worked closely with editors and literary agents, and struggled with my wife’s bags while trying to capture the most inspiring of shots.

I conducted a one on one interview with renowned fashion designer, Julien Macdonald, at the tropical private island resort, Pangkor Laut Resort.

As the Senior Copywriter for one of South East Asia’s largest conglomerates, I managed a lot of different responsibilities pertaining to various events. I enjoyed the daily challenge of writing press releases, speeches, feature articles, emcee scripts, and marketing collaterals.

Whether I’m writing content, dabbling in design, putting together videos, capturing moments through photos or blogging about our travel experiences, all of these creative outlets stem from my passion of telling stories.

There’s nothing I love more than spinning a tale. To find a voice or create a unique world for others to discover.
