There’s an abundance of great artisan cafes located throughout the city, so if you have a hint of a caffeine addiction, then you’re going to feel right at home in Chiang Mai. Here’s our list of the best cafes in Chiang Mai where you can sit for a couple of hours with a fantastic cup of coffee.
Rustic & Blue Farm Shop
Make yourself at home at Rustic & Blue. That’s what we tend to do as this café is a huge favourite among Chaing Mai’s digital nomad community.
Rustic & Blue is located just off of Nimman road and this café occupies such a huge space that it’s divided into several sections, suitable for whatever your personality prefers. You can sit in a brightly lit air-conditioned glass room and have your coffee with one of their freshly baked goods (scones and croissants – 65 Baht) that are on display.
Or, you can sit outside in the warmth of their garden relaxing in a hammock or lounging on a cushion at one of their coffee tables, which is just the perfect place to be when it’s not too hot.
The menu offers plenty of breakfast, brunch and all-day dishes, including vegan and vegetarian options, so it really is suitable for anyone at any time.
Savoury dishes such as the Avocado Toast (225 Baht), Falafal Bowl (225 Baht), or any of the colourful Smoothie Bowls, such as the Acai Smoothie Bowl (295 Baht), are healthy and light.
There’s smoothies too, such as the Mango Lassi (155 Baht) and the Coconut Sesame Banana Smoothie (155 Baht).
For a regular sized hot latte / cappuccino, it costs 75 Baht. If you want to upgrade that to a larger version, the cost is 90 Baht. We tend to always go large because when we go to Rustic & Blue, we don’t tend to leave any time soon. This is one of the best cafes in Chiang Mai and we just love the relaxing and productive vibe here.
