Seminyak is the busting hub of Bali located on Bali’s west coast and their café culture is brimming with amazing cafes. From Instagrammable cafes, day-to-night café / restaurants, Seminyak’s café society contains some of the best cafes in Bali.

Here’s our list of the best cafes in Seminyak.

Kynd Community

This vegan café in Seminayk has been designed to bring tourists, please locals and entertain the Instagrammers. KYND Community just transmits good vibes with their distinctive pink walls and green tropical fern patterns. KYND Community are a plant-based café that offers a healthy and tasty menu, plant-based milk coffees and chai lattes. Order one of their decorative smoothie bowls (RP73,000) or pink lattes for the perfect Insta-prop.

Cappuccino / Latte / Flat White – 35k++

Open from 6am – 10pm.

Balibola

This extremely instagrammable café brightens Insta-feeds and your mood with its fun pastel coloured design, making it the perfect place to drop into for that fun holiday café snap when in Bali.

Balibola is a flexitarian cafe that offers plenty of choice with smoothie bowls, salad bowls, burgers and wraps, and all-day brunch and lunch options available. And loads of Instagrammable options.

Their ‘OMG! Ricotta Pancakes (180k) steals the show with its giant stack of fluffy pancakes that comes with a syringe to inject your chocolate with.

Cappuccino – 40k++  Latte / Flat White – 38k++

Open from 8am – 6pm.

Coffee Cartel

Pretty and pink, Coffee Cartel are not just known as one of the best cafes in Seminyak for its Instagrammable pink wall, pink lattes and chic interior design, wait – isn’t that already enough?

Apparently not because this cosmopolitan cafe with its chill Bali vibes specialise in creating Instagrammable coffees. Pink Beetroot or Pink Chai lattes (40k) if you’re looking for something happy and pink, they also a Coffee Ripple Maker machine to do some extra latte art printing upon request (+15k).

And if you want a reason to love them more, Coffee Cartel are also one of the dog friendliest cafes in Bali.

Cappuccino / Latte / Flat White – 35k.

Open from 7:30am – 6pm.

Grain

This air-conditioned café with its industrial style interior is a modern hideout for anyone who loves a good cup of coffee. Grain is a new urban café that uses a hand crafted Italian 1a marzocco’ coffee machine to create a custom blended roast using Arabica beans.

Breakfast and lunch options from their Indonesian-Western fusion inspired menu are available throughout the day, and at night Grain is a popular restaurant to go to for dinner.

Cappuccino / Latte / Flat White – 30k++

Open from 7:30am – 10pm.

Shelter Cafe

Going to this open-aired rooftop café is like entering someone’s personal garden with its decorative ferns, wooden furnishings and relaxing ambience. Shelter Cafe is a temporary escape from all of Seminyak’s hustle and bustle.

This cafe has a plethora of options that are suitable for the carnivorous inclined, or vegetarians and vegans. We’ve tried most of the menu and some of our favourite dishes include the Omelette (70k++ – It’s way better than what a simple omelette sounds like), the Baked Granola (65k++) and the B.L.A.T (70K).

Open from 7:30am – 6pm.

Revolver Espresso Boutique Coffee House

Café by day, restaurant & cocktail bar by night, Revolver is a multifaceted business that caters for just about every desire. Revolver has evolved to become an institution in Seminyak’s café community and this must visit establishment is one of the best cafés in Seminyak.

The café has a gritty vibe with its wooden board design. Roasting their own globally sourced beans in Seminyak, there’s a good vibe present at all times of the day that you can take in with a real smooth cup of coffee.

Cappuccino / Latte / Flat White – 35k++

7am – Late (5pm the café section closes and the restaurant section opens)

Expat. Roasters

Modern and simple in design, the 2019 Indonesian Coffee Roaster Champions, Expat. Roasters is one of the best cafes in Bali. If you’re a coffee snob then you need to stop in to Expat. Roasters for a caffeine fix. You won’t be disappointed.

If you’ve been in Bali for a while then the likelihood is that you’ve tried their coffee as their brand is used by many other cafes in Bali. The Bali based speciality coffee roasters source coffee beans from around the world and work closely with the local Balinese farmers to produce the best product possible.

Have a question about coffee? Ask away as their baristas are full of knowledge about their product and will educate you about the coffee you’re drinking.

To have a coffee at Expat. Roasters is to pay that little bit more than the competitive standard but their aim is that you are guaranteed a good coffee every single time.

Cappuccino / Latte / Flat White – 35k++ for 4oz, 6oz, and 45k++ for 12oz.
