The Best Restaurants in Bali to go for Dinner

Indigo Canggu - Canggu (Fine Dining Japanese Cuisine)

Indigo is a Japanese fine-dine dining experience that would be raved about if based in New York or London and is a gastronomical haven for anyone who wants to taste authentic Japanese cuisine in Bali. Aesthetically very simple and stylish in design, Indigo has a welcoming ambience that’s good for groups and is also a romantic place to have cocktails and dinner with a loved one.

There’s so much to choose from the menu, so we had the excellent staff guide on us a delectable evening. We were so impressed with the food that we couldn’t ever just say we had enough as we had to try something else.

Each dish was elegantly curated with a high level of attention to detail given to presentation as well as taste. In particular, our standout meals were the Tuna Sashimi, the Salmon Terriyaki, the Grilled Hokkaido Scallop and the Foie Gras & Black Angus Tenderloin.

Indigo is Japanese cuisine at its finest and is easily one of the best restaurants in Bali.

You Look Hot in a Bikini Restaurant - Seminyak (Fine Dining Chef's Experience)

For a romantic meal in Bali that will tantalise the senses, You Look Hot in a Bikini is a classy fine dining experience located in the heart of bustling Seminyak.

Sit back and let Bikini’s chefs take you on a journey of flavours with the ‘Feed Me’ Chef’s Experience. The dishes served vary from night to night and are inspired by the island’s seasonal ingredients.

This five course meal is designed to be shared and enjoyed between two. We’ve done the ‘Feed Me’ Chef’s Experience several times, not knowing what to expect each night and every time our taste buds have been treated to an explosion of innovative flavours.

The Cacio e pepe Gnocci, and Smoked Duck Breast dishes are simply divine.

Each course is made to be shared. The meals are artistically curated with presentation considered as paramount to the experience as the taste is. Their Chicken Satays are served on steaming coals for example, while the Crispy Eggplant look like rocks of charcoal that contrast beautifully on the plate with the Coconut Yoghurt. And a selection of four sweet bites is served in a tiered tower full of goodies.

If you’re looking for one of the best restaurants in Bali to have a fine dining experience or celebrate something special, then you will not be disappointed with a trip to You Look Hot in a Bikini.

Black Bar by Revolver - Seminyak (Western Dining Experience)

Revolver Espresso’s café section closes at 5pm to which the café transforms into a trendy restaurant. Black Bar by Revolver in the evening is definitely a place to go for dinner and one of our favourite places to eat out in Seminyak.

Their dinner menu is varied and should cater to any particular taste. There are plenty of tasty options in their snack section that made for scrumptious appetisers. Our particular favourite are the Ham and Cheese croquettes (25k e/a).

For dinner, I always like to have had a workout before going to Revolver because I know I’m going there to eat. Their portions are quite generous. The menu offers some healthy food options, such as the Grilled Barramundi (130k).

However, I can’t help myself and always splurge on the indulgent menu choices – the Ruben Toastie (90k) is so good while I rank their Double Barrell Burger (100k) as the best beef burger in Seminyak.

Even though the cocktails available at the Black Bar by Revolver are really good and great for a girls night out, we always have to order a coffee after dinner when at Revolver. Their particular smooth blend makes Revolver Espresso one of the best cafes in Seminyak so to not have a coffee while there is just criminal.

We always have such a great time at Black Bar by Revolver when we go there for dinner. Just a fun place to be and even though we wouldn’t classify the food as fine dining, it is damn good and oh so delicious, making Black Bar by Revolver as one of the best restaurants in Bali to have a night out at.
